Life is nothing if not human connections. I plan to display the sentiment of humanity and emotion and unveil complexes of different versions of intimacy and affection.
AP Art: 1st assignment

Ideas- For this piece I experimented with the element of light and contrast to depict my idea of nostaliga.
Experimentation- I used acrylic paint and wanted to explore with blending. At first, I attempted for a photorealistic piece but I grew fond of the style that came through.
Citation- Since the subject of my piece changed midway through, I ended up changing the name. I originally wanted a cat depicted under the chair, but I decided the internal space showed enough of my idea of nostalgia through the light fixation.
Piece 2 Process+Investigation
Process- I struggled a lot with the main subject, the scooper, and so I spent a lot of time with focusing on modeling my subject. Skye helped with modeling so I could get the right perspective.
Ideas- I wanted to depict a positive and happy setting, an ice cream shop, using a bright and modern pastel color palette.
